Advertising design

In short

PragaWeb’s advertising design creates logos, brand identity, brand books and materials for social media and print, with colours and contrast everyone can read.

Advertising design is the visual design work that gives your business a recognisable, consistent look: logo, brand identity, brand book and materials for social media, campaigns and print. PragaWeb provides it for small and medium-sized businesses, start-ups and professionals who want to communicate in a tidy and credible way on every channel.

Good design is not just attractive: it is readable, works on a small screen as well as on a billboard, and can be used even without a designer at your side. That is why we design with clear rules and accessible colour contrast.

When you need an advertising design project

  • Your logo looks dated, is hard to read or does not work at small sizes.
  • Business cards, website, social media and brochures look like they come from different companies.
  • Every new piece is improvised, with different colours and fonts.
  • You are starting a new business or launching a new brand or product.
  • You are preparing a trade fair, a campaign or a new catalogue.
  • Partners and suppliers ask for your logo and you are not sure which file to send.

What we design

  • Logo: designed to be recognisable and readable at every size, from a social media icon to a shop sign. You receive horizontal, stacked, symbol-only, single-colour and reversed versions.
  • Brand identity: the set of colours, typefaces, image style and layouts that make every piece recognisable. It includes letterhead, business cards, email signature and document templates.
  • Brand book: the user manual for your brand. It explains how to use the logo, colours and fonts, what to avoid and how to lay out the most common materials. It serves anyone who works with your brand, even after us.
  • Social media materials: templates for posts, stories and cover images, and ad creatives in the formats each platform requires.
  • Print materials: brochures, catalogues, flyers, trade fair roll-ups, labels and packaging, delivered as print-ready files.
  • Web graphics: banners, icons and illustrations for your site, consistent with the rest of the identity.

Accessible contrast and readability

Light grey text on a white background may look elegant, but many people cannot read it: people with low vision, anyone looking at a phone in sunlight, most people over fifty. So when we define your colour palette, we check the contrast ratio set by the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines: at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and key graphic elements.

In the brand book we state which colour combinations to use for text and which to avoid. We also avoid conveying information through colour alone, because colour-blind people might miss it. These are simple measures that make your communication clearer for everyone.

How we work

  1. Brief: in an online call we discuss your business, values, audience, competitors and tastes, and gather existing materials.
  2. Research and direction: we analyse your sector and present one or two visual directions with references.
  3. Proposals: we develop logo or material proposals and show them applied to real cases such as your website, a business card and a post.
  4. Revisions: we refine the chosen proposal through an agreed number of revision rounds.
  5. System and brand book: we define colours, fonts and rules, and write the manual.
  6. Delivery: you receive all the files, clearly organised and named.

Tools and formats

We design with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for logos and print, and with Figma for digital graphics and shared templates. The logo is delivered in vector formats (SVG, PDF, EPS), which can be enlarged without losing quality, and in PNG for everyday use. Print files are PDFs in CMYK with the bleed and profiles your printer needs. We choose typefaces licensed for web use and, where possible, ones that can be hosted on your own site without external services.

Timing and costs: what they depend on

  • whether you are starting from scratch or refreshing an existing brand;
  • the number of materials and formats to design;
  • how comprehensive the brand book is;
  • the number of revision rounds;
  • any additional languages for the materials.

A logo and brand identity project usually takes three to six weeks. Single pieces, such as a brochure or a set of social media templates, take less. You always receive a clear quote before we start.

Why choose PragaWeb for your design

  • Design made for digital and accessible, not just for print.
  • Files you own: you receive editable source files and the agreed usage rights.
  • A single point of contact for design, copy and website: your identity is applied consistently to your corporate website and social media channels.
  • Words and visuals together: with our copywriting service we also define your brand’s tone of voice.

Frequently asked questions

How much do a logo and brand identity cost?

It depends on how many materials you need, how comprehensive the brand book is and the number of revisions. After the brief we send a quote split into phases, so you know in advance what you get and at what cost.

What is a brand book for?

It is the user manual for your brand: it explains how to use the logo, colours and fonts and what to avoid. It keeps your image consistent even when someone else prepares materials, such as a printer or a new team member.

Do we own the logo and source files?

Yes. We deliver the logo in vector format and the editable source files, with usage rights agreed in writing.

Why do you check colour contrast?

Because low-contrast text is hard for many people to read. We follow the minimum ratios in the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines, so your materials are readable by everyone.

Can you refresh our logo without changing it completely?

Yes. A restyle that keeps the recognisable elements is often the best option. We decide together what to keep and what to improve.
