Integrations, APIs and automation

In short

Integrations, APIs and automation connect management systems, online stores and external services, automate repetitive steps and use AI where it genuinely helps, removing manual work between programs.

Integrations, APIs and automation are the set of services PragaWeb uses to get your company’s software talking to each other and remove manual steps: data copied from one program to another, emails forwarded by hand, documents filled in from scratch every time. They are designed for small and medium-sized businesses that already use several tools, such as a management system, online store, CRM and accounting, and want them to work as a single system.

The result is less time wasted, fewer typing errors and up-to-date information everywhere, without replacing the programs your team already knows.

What integrations, APIs and automation cover

This area is made up of three complementary services that can be used on their own or together:

  • API integration: connects two or more programs so they exchange data automatically, for example orders from your online store to your management system or stock from the warehouse to your website. An API is the official channel through which a program lets others read or write its data.
  • Process automation: creates workflows that start by themselves when something happens, such as notifications, document generation, approvals and periodic reports, using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier or custom scripts.
  • Applied AI: gives your workflows the ability to read and understand text, to extract data from invoices and delivery notes, sort emails or answer questions about company documents, always with human oversight.

Which service should you choose?

  • If the problem is that data does not flow from one program to another, start with API integration.
  • If the data is there but tasks are repeated by hand every day, you need process automation.
  • If the manual work involves reading, interpreting or classifying documents and messages, consider applied AI.

In practice the three often go together: first you connect the systems, then you automate the workflows, and finally you add AI where it brings a measurable benefit. If you are not sure where to start, we work it out together in the first review.

Our approach

  1. Listening: we map how information moves today and where time is lost.
  2. Proposal: we set out what to connect and automate first, with clear timing and costs split into releasable phases.
  3. Short release cycles: we bring one workflow live at a time, so you see the benefits straight away.
  4. Evolution: we monitor errors and performance and update connections when external services change.

Every integration logs what it does and raises an alert if something fails: useful automation is automation you can keep an eye on.

Services in this area

  • API integration

API integration connects the software you already use, such as your management system, online store, CRM and accounting, so they exchange data automatically, with no copy and paste and no typing errors.

  • Process automation

Process automation turns repetitive tasks such as notifications, documents, approvals and data updates into workflows that run on their own, so your team can focus on work that really needs a person.

  • Applied AI

Applied AI puts AI models to work on concrete business tasks, such as assistants for your documents, data extraction from invoices and delivery notes or email sorting, with human oversight and GDPR compliance.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between API integration and process automation?

API integration connects software so it can exchange data. Automation uses those connections to carry out a sequence of tasks, such as sending a notification or creating a document. You often need both.

Do I need to replace the programs I use today?

Usually not. We work on top of the tools you already have and connect them. We only suggest replacing a program if it allows no reasonable connection.

How much does an integration or automation project cost?

It depends on how many systems and workflows are involved, the quality of their APIs and the special cases. After the review you get a phased proposal with clear timing and costs, with any subscriptions listed separately.

Do I need artificial intelligence?

No. Many problems are solved with traditional integrations and automation. AI makes sense when text needs reading or interpreting, such as invoices, emails or internal documents.

Who owns the code and configuration?

Your company does. Code, workflows and accounts are documented and in your name, so you can develop them further with us or with others.
